Hannah--WEEK ONE OF HOME MTC!!!
Hola Hola!
I have officially been in the online MTC for 9 days! I have LOVED being a missionary and the joy it brings me! It has definitely been different having classes from home instead of at the Mexico MTC, but I have really enjoyed the online experience! Here is what the day is like for Hermana Blatter!
6:30- wake up, pray and do some exercise! (Elder Blatter and I usually go on a walk together)
8-11- morning class
11:15-12:15- companion study with hermana platt!!
12:30- eat lunch! then either workshop, personal study or language study
4:30-7:30- afternoon class
7:30- eat dinner! then hang out with family, watch a disney movie in spanish, or study some more!
10:30- bed time
Elder Blatter and I have a lot of fun being down the hall from each other. It has been such a blessing to be a missionary at the same time as him and that we started the MTC the same day! My class usually finishes earlier than his, so I'll go into his room and say hi to his district. He tells me they say they like me better than him, so my job is complete! (Love you Jake ;))
I am in a district of 6 hermanas and 4 elders! One of the elders in my district is a friend from BYU so that has been fun seeing a familiar face! Even though we all can't meet physically we are still growing close and it has been so fun getting to know them! Our district will have zoom meetings to study spanish words at night but we almost always get off topic and talk about other things. I promise I'm learning!!!
My companion is Hermana Platt! She is going to Washington as well, but to the Kennewick mission. She is from Hyrum Utah and lives on her grandpa's ranch! She has the sweetest personality and we get along so well!
This week I recommend that everyone watches the video "The Will of God". You can find it on churchofjesuschrist.org or on youtube! :) I love the message that the video shares and I hope it resonates with you as it has with me!
I've been learning so much everyday that it feels like my brain will explode, but in the best way possible! I love learning spanish and I'm excited for the weeks to come! I hope you all have a good week!
