Jake--MTC Week one--Burly Men

What up everybody.

I have been in the MTC for one week and so far it has been pretty exciting. Lots of Spanish being learned. I have to memorize 300 words by Saturday so I guess you can say things are getting pretty intense. My district is very cool and I’m probably the favorite. My companion is named Elder Jensen and he is cool too but he doesn’t respond to me a lot but we still get it done. One of my teachers likes the Hulk because she likes burly men. So we decided before class one day we all set our background as him. She did not appreciate it. I’ve been a lot happier since I started this online MTC process but I’m ready to get out and serve... when I learn the language.

Not much to report but if you ever want to bring me Taco Bell or stop by and say hi I would greatly appreciate it, especially since my fam is leaving for Tahoe next week… it’s really lonely.

Spirit is definitely stronger throughout the day and it's nice to have that feeling all day. God is good. Prayers are powerful.
