Jake--Si, canelas

What up. Tis I, Elder Blatter. Back with another email for you. Semana dos of the Santa Rosa mission. Enjoy.

First off, let me just say that time has no meaning anymore. Somedays feel like weeks, some weeks feel like days. Some are fast, slow, and all of that in between it makes no sense. Somebody should conduct a study about time in the mission its wack.

The people in this ward are my favorite. There's a little 2 year old named Christisn and he's a cute kid. There's also Brother Andersen who is over 60 and not as cute. He did serve in Panama though so shout out to mi Padre. There's also a blind lady named Sister Portlock who is super nice but guessed my height without me talking to her first. Kinda spooky.

We also went to dinner the other night in the mountains and it was beautiful. These members thought it would be funny to give me green napkins, forks, spoons, and a cup. It was cute but cutting steak with a plastic knife is not fun.
Even though I don't get many opportunities to speak Spanish, I practice everyday and I started to read the Book of Mormon in Spanish. I haven't made it very far... I also cried when I read the first vision. Touched mi corazon. Its nice to know whenever I feel alone and afraid I have my Heavenly Father there for me always.

Sorry for the long email. Lots to go over. I'll see you all next week. Adios

Elder Blatter
