Hannah--6 MORE DAYSSS?!?!
HOLA HOLA!
Forgot to send out an email last week so you know I'm already slacking oops! Can't promise that will be the last time that happens, life gets crazy!
The past two weeks have been super great! Lots of amazing lessons and experiences! In one week, I will be writing my next email from Washington! WHAAAT!?!? Can't believe online MTC will be over so soon! I seriously say this every week, but time is moving wayyy too fast!
Last sunday, all the hermanas were assigned to plan a lesson for our families! It was so fun to have my parents and siblings involved in a lesson! There's a picture of all of us together with our families at the bottom! Shoutout to Kaitlyn for coming from BYU, we got one more sunday dinner left :(
My district has gotten so close these past few weeks! 4 missionaries in my district got reassigned to Santa Rosa, so Elder Blatter will have so many friends when he gets there! We have a shared google doc that we have between all of us to write down funny quotes we hear from our teachers or each other when in class or companionship study. It has gotten to 6 pages!!! I will laugh about them forever haha!
I love this scripture in Mosiah 24 and it gave me so much comfort this past week!
13 And it came to pass that the voice of the Lord came to them in their afflictions, saying: Lift up your heads and be of good comfort, for I know of the covenant which ye have made unto me; and I will covenant with my people and deliver them out of bondage.
14 And I will also ease the burdens which are put upon your shoulders, that even you cannot feel them upon your backs, even while you are in bondage; and this will I do that ye may stand as witnesses for me hereafter, and that ye may know of a surety that I, the Lord God, do visit my people in their afflictions.
I know that God will never leave us alone. In verse 14, it says he visits people in their afflictions! When we feel like we are struggling under the most heavy burdens, he can ease them and help you carry them. Sometimes, (well most of the time), our trials won't be taken away completely, but God can give us the strength to overcome them! He knows how strong you can become if you trust in Him. We can see the blessings when we align our will to His will. I know he loves you and he cares for each of us individually! He has a perfect love.
So grateful for you all! Stay safe, be kind to one another, and pray often! Make sure you watch my district's "pass the tag" challenge! It's on my Facebook page :)
